I received my M.A. in Library Science in 1983 from UW-Madison, and loved being a reference librarian until my first baby, Elizabeth was born in 1987. With such a beautiful subject, I took the first of a thousand rolls of film. New joy came into our lives when Anna, Sarah, and Samuel were born in '89, '91, and '94. I was a stay-at-home mother for ten years, recording moments and memories on film just for my family. I began giving a gift to my friends as they had new babies--I'd take a roll of black and white film of their baby while they were still in the hospital, and gave the pictures and a memory page for their baby's scrapbook to them. This was so much fun that I decided to create my own business where I would photograph babies in the comfort of their homes, with black and white film and natural light. Samuel was in preschool by then, so I could photograph two babies per week, while he was in school. My business has "grown up" since then, as has my family. I try my hardest to live out my priorities to God and my family, while serving my customers and my community.
