Photographer Overview

Hello,
I'm Amanda, owner/ photographer at AKPratt Photography, LLC. I specialize in newborn, children and family photography. I believe It is important to capture the early moments of a child's life. Babies grow tremendously fast and they are only little enough to fit so perfectly in your arms once! 
It is my creative vision to capture the moments of laughter, love, silliness, and funny faces that truly represent my clients and their families. I truly enjoy getting to know these families and even enjoy having fun with the kids during our time together. It is important to me that I capture the subjects' personalities in a genuine way while providing unique photographs to represent them.
I have studied film photography, newborn portraiture, child and family portraiture, read various books, attended and participated in workshops and have been mentored by several professional photographers. I enjoy constantly working to learn new techniques and creative concepts, learning new equipment and software and creatively collaborating to create fun and unique images for my clients. My work has been featured in several issues of Modern Model Magazine, Colorvale.com  and has been on exhibit in the University of Michigan School of Social Work, Matthaei Botanical Gardens and the Allies for Disability Awareness Art Show.
