Photographer Overview

Each morning, I awake excited to be able to do what I love! I am incredibly thankful for the opportunity to combine my passion for photography with my clients' desires to beautifully preserve their special moments. 

My business has grown well beyond the initial dreams I had when entering the field in 2005. Photography is a second career for me.  I hold a masters degree in Early Childhood Education and spent a number of years along that career path.  The skills and knowledge attained through this endeavor, combined with my love of working with children, have served as natural complements to this photography business that I love so much.

I have earned the Certified Professional Photographer designation from the Professional Certification Commission.  This designation comes after meeting rigorous requirements measuring artistic and technical competence.  I am also a member of the Professional Photographers Association.  I have won numerous awards for my newborn and senior portrait work.  I was recently named one of the top ten photographers in Tennessee by the Tennessee Professional Photographers Association.

I continue my photography education each year by attending local and national conventions, as well as traveling across the country to study with leading photographers in this industry.  This keeps me up-to-date with the latest in photography trends and techniques.  I love learning new skills so that I can provide my clients with the most innovative and creative products available today.
