Photographer Overview

My name is Jaime and I am the girl behind FamilyTales Photography LLC.  I began my photography career as primarily a wedding photographer who worked for other photographers.  I photographed families on the weekends I didn't have a wedding...or weddings.  After much consideration, in 2012 I decided to start my own photography business.  I didn't really have a focus at that point because I realized to grow a business you have to try everything for a while and find your passion.  It didn't take long to realize that my passion is newborn and child photography.  In 2014, with a lot of encouragement I opened my in-home studio.  I was a true skeptic about whether I would ever book a studio session.  I was completely overwhelmed by how quickly my little studio took off.  FamilyTales Photography is now my more-than-fulltime job and I wouldn't have it any other way.  If you come into my studio you can expect it to be a little messy (I have a prop addiction and no more space!) and you can expect me to talk too much...because that is what I do.  I want to hear all about your life and your delivery and your job and, most of all, your child.....and I want to share with you all the details of my own circus....because with three children of my own, I have quite the stories to tell you <3
