Photographer Overview

Growing up in Manhattan, KS, my father was a photography hobbyist and I was his helper in the darkroom.  I was fascinated with it all from an early age.   

After having gone into the corporate world to work as a young adult, I soon realized I needed to follow my heart and get back to photography.  A honeymoon in Africa sealed the deal.  With new camera and lenses in hand, I took the leap of faith and started my own business.  That was in 2000.  I knew if I could make it work, I would be a "happy chick" -- and I AM!!  That's when Happy Chick Photography was born and I've never looked back.

 I want to offer great photography at affordable prices, giving you portraits that you will love forever.
