Photographer Overview
To wake up every day and do what I love... I am that lucky...
Hi... I'm Kelly...
I'm a wife, a boasting mom, a artist, and a photographer...baby whisper, kid wrangler.....
My passion for photography started at a very young age. I always knew deep down my happiest place was somewhere surrounded by people and a camera in my hand... Capturing snippets of time to look back on and bring you right back as if you were reliving the moment.
I specialize in newborn photography. Those sweet little babies are my passion. Every where I go I think... "would a baby fit in that" ?? I shoot all natural light in my 1200 sq ft studio located in a old Industrial building. The lucious light that comes in through my 12 ft windows.... where even on an overcast day I can create beautiful images. I get to snuggle and cuddle sweet itty bitties... the honor I feel knowing moms and dads come in and hand that precious cargo over to me to preserve this tiny moment in time for them. Many of them call me the baby whisperer and ask if they can bring me home for those 2am feedings....
And the joy I have capturing their first year... when they learn to sit on their own so happy and proud.... and then back for when they turn one.... on the go go go.... I love sitting and playing peek-a-boo and any sort of silly game that will make them laugh at me. Watching them grow and preserving those milestones.
My children have been my biggest inspiration followed by the love and support of my amazing husband who has stood by me every step of the way. I wouldn't be here today without his encouragement to guide me....
I studied graphic design/ photography in College and since the dawn of digital I pride myself in doing everything I can to take me to the next level. I have taken many classes and workshops to further develop my passion... traveling as far as CA to work along side one of the most amazing photographers that has been a true inspiration and mentor to me. I look forward to continuing to learn as well as teaching workshops this upcoming year from teaching Moms how to take thier cameras off Auto to Newborn Workshops.
I am a proud member of PPA, Professional Photographers of America
