Photographer Overview

Hello.

 I love to photograph newborns. Why? Simple. Those newborn details are easily forgotten after the haze of new parenthood clears, and especially with the passing of years. The wrinkled forehead. The untouched skin, delicate and papery. Peach fuzzy shoulders. Those tiny hands and feet and that signature pretzel position that is so naturally comforting when you’re only a few days old. When sleeping, newborns are a vision of peace and quiet. And when awake, they are awash in wonder at hearing mother’s familiar voice. It’s all too magical for even a thousand words, which is why I take pictures of newborns.

Newborns are best photographed in the first two weeks of life, I come to your home to photograph your newborns so I prefer to book while you are still expecting. If you already had your baby please contact me as soon as possible to find the first available date. I do photograph "older" newborns, I strongly believe all Mothers deserve amazing photographs of their babies, so if your baby is older than 2 weeks please don't hesitate to contact me to discuss what I can do for you.

I am quite experienced at handling these young babies, from posing to soothing to recognizing their needs. The pace of a newborn session is all based on the baby, stopping frequently for changing and feedings. I encourage Mom and Dad to relax and put their feet up while I capture all the little details of their new babe.

I photograph babies, children and families in and around their homes. I have a successful, full time photography business on location throughout the Philadelphia area for over 10 years.
