Photographer Overview
My name is Sarah Beebe (pronounced bee-bee) and I was born and raised in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. I’ve always had a passion for creating emotive art and found a love for photography in 2007. I now serve the Okanagan Valley from Penticton to Vernon and Lower Mainland Vancouver to capture timeless maternity, newborn, child and family portraits as well as wedding and corporate photography.
In 2013 I was honored to receive first place in Okanagan Life’s “Best of the Okanagan” for “Best Photographer in the Central Okanagan.” Since then, I’ve been featured in Style me Pretty Canada, have received recognition at NewbornPhotography.com (an online community for all things newborn) and have often been called a “baby whisperer.” Sometimes, I even get offered a babysitting job. I love snuggling newborns and being silly with children, it reminds me to never grow up.
In 2014, I checked off a bucket list item and travelled to Rhode Island to meet my inspiration, Heidi Guerard of Heidi Hope Photography. There, I spent 3 days being mentored in her beautiful Warwick studio.
I also attended the 2015 NAPCP (National Association of Professional Child Photographers) Retreat and workshop where I was coached by inspiring photographers from around the world. I believe photography is an ever evolving art form and I am always trying to push myself to grow. I am now a proud member of the NAPCP and continue to learn from industry professionals around the globe.
I really believe my passion for photography comes from seeing a beautiful, positive connection between people, whether on their wedding day, holding their brand new baby or blowing bubbles in a park with their toddlers. I love the silly moments, the candid moments, those *aww* moments and sometimes the moments you don’t even know exist until you see the images afterwards. I consider my clients family and would love to work with you in creating heirlooms for generations to come.
