Photographer Overview

I didn’t always know I wanted to be a photographer, but I did always know I wanted to work with people, especially children. My passion for photography started after my husband gifted me my first DSLR for Christmas one year and I immediately became infatuated with every aspect. I began taking classes and reading any tutorial I could get my hands on. I was in photography love.

In the spring of 2013 I had my own little baby. He is my sunshine. I have been photographing every little move he has made (my husband thinks I’m crazy!) and I feel like I’ve become an even better photographer since having my own child. I know what I want in a picture as a parent and I know what I want in a picture as an artist.

I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology with a focus in Child Development, I also have a masters degree in Early Childhood Education. While in college, I was a nanny for two different families. So as you can probably tell, I really love children! This makes for a very fun and productive photo session for everyone.
