Hi there! I'm a mother of boys with a passion for the arts and my creative self enjoys nothing more than to share my work and creations with you. My vision is to provide you with absolutely stunning works of art and epic photographs for you to forever admire and adore. I have been a professional painter for over 10 years and a professional photographer for 5 years.
WHY I DO WHAT I DO
I love photography. There is so much emotion packed into a photograph. Photos are how we reflect and watch people grow. As a photographer, I want to provide this gift to you. I want you to have those stunning images of moments in your life to forever look back on.
Why you may ask? Well, let me share a secret. You may think, "Oh, she's a photographer. She has tons of great photos of her family." The reality is... I DON'T! Well, at least I didn't. It was not until I began to master my craft that I had truly remarkable images of my life's design. My first child has the roughest, raw, most unprofessional images ever. However, those are images I cherish, because they are all I have of that moment in time.
I want you to have those images too. Only I want you to have them in a way that you can love them and keep loving them forever.
MY PROFESSION
Oh Babies! I love babies! They don't call them bundles of joy for nothing. I specialize in newborn photography due to the monumental joy a new life brings and I want to preserve those moments for your family in a unique and timeless way. Those little toes and sweet features mature and grow so quickly. It always comes as a shock to us mothers how fast time flies. This is why I am so passionate about providing families with high quality professional images of their babies in a safe and comfortable environment.
QUALIFICATIONS + TRAINING
- 6+ years medical training and volunteer work in Hospital Maternity and Obstetric Facilities
- 4+ years studying child development, Obstetrics, Speech Pathology and Audiology
- 5+ years photography education through University and Private organizations
- Education in Professional Photography and editing by educators Amy and Jordan Demos
- Baby Safety and Posing Training for Newborn Photographers by Kelly Brown
- Newborn and Family Lifestyle Photography education by Emily Lucarz
- Professional Portrait and Glamour Photography education by Sue Bryce
- Education in newborn posing methodology and anatomy
Safety is the number one concern when I photograph your newborn. I have spent years acquiring knowledge and utilizing my newborn photography education, safety and posing training as well as conveying its importance to my clients. Your baby should always be in a safe position and place during your photography session and this is a quality of service I give to my clients. You can rest assured your baby will be comfortable and in good hands.
I have spent countless hours training under educator and award winning newborn photographer Kelly Brown in her Baby Safety and Posing for Newborn Photography classes. I have extensive knowledge regarding newborn posing methodology and baby posing anatomy. I have studied and obtained education from award winning photographer Emily Lucarz in her Newborn and Family Lifestyle classes. I have also studied along educators Amy and Jordan Demos in their professional photography and editing classes.
I love children and families. Family is forever, whether you like it or not. However, I have photographed many subjects such as NFL icons and more. Photography is vast, and creativity endless, (I would say eternal, but I don't want to wear it out). Photographs are how we document our lives, past lives, memories and more. Therefore, I jump to the opportunity to capture those moments for others.
In addition to my training, I studied child development and Speech Pathology at UTD. However, let the dream of being a doctor go so that I could spend more time with my children and fully immerse myself in my passion of art and photography.
Sharing my work and capturing truly spic imagery for my clients is what I strive for. Your memories are precious and I want to capture those moments in a way that make them unforgettable.
