Photographer Overview
Luisa Dunn is a Brisbane-based photographer specialising in the art of newborn and baby portraiture. Her gentle and timeless work has seen her win multiple awards at state and national levels.
Before taking up photography as a full-time career over four years ago, Luisa gained a marketing degree and worked as a consultant for public relations agencies and the
Queensland Symphony Orchestra.
Luisa is a wife and mum of two teenage children and two very spoilt (and slightly round) fur babies.
Luisa picked up her first camera when she was 16 and has enjoyed working primarily with natural light for over 26 years. She discovered her love of working with newborns and babies back in 2010 when she was asked to photograph a family member’s new arrival. Luisa was in awe of this fleeting moment in our lives and knew instantly that this was what she was meant to do…capture the innocence and beauty of these perfect little people.
Luisa is an accredited member of the AIPP (Australian Institute of Professional Photographers).
